Detached Grade 2 Listed Converted Barn

Set near the top of Long Mountain but still only being approx 15 minutes from the centres of Shrewsbury, Welshpool, Montgomery, and Churchstoke, The Barn is a beautifully appointed detached grade 2 listed converted barn in an elevated position with commanding views of the Shropshire hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The area, being so tranquil, is ideally suited to outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, bird watching or riding, horse riding is available at our neighbouring Long Mountain riding centre or alternatively arrangements can be made for horses to stay in our field next to the barn if you would like to bring your own.

There are several venues within easy reach offering food and drink in a wide range of establishments from very traditional country settings to the more modern gastro pubs and restaurants.

Other attractions within easy reach include:

- Ludlow – ‘the perfect English town’.
- Severn Valley Steam Railway, Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway.
- Ironbridge – World Heritage Site and 10 museums.
- Much Wenlock – birthplace of the modern Olympic Games.
