Recapture
The Ambience of a Bygone Age
Recapture the ambience
of a bygone age with
the silvery strains of Stephanie's elegant harp.
Her extensive repertoire covering:
Celtic/Traditional
Classical
Contemporary Pop & Pop Classics & Light Jazz
Musicals & Films
would add an extra special touch to your day.
For venues such as marquees, or events where a large number of guests
are anticipated, and it is deemed appropriate, Stephanie can provide
enhanced sound projection of her harp through unobtrusive amplification
equipment.
For outside ceremonies, conditions are often not suitable to take
a pedal harp outside due to their high value and high maintenance.
However, to avoid disappointment, Stephanie can prepare repertoire
on her lever harp, which although styled like a pedal harp, is less
susceptible to damage from climatic conditions, and has an inbuilt
pick up for amplification. It is also suitable for smaller spaces
or areas that are risky to access with a pedal harp. |

Piano
Stephanie also performs
as a classically trained pianist at venues that have a suitable
piano, and where one isn’t available, she can provide her stage
digital piano complete with P A system.
She performs a classical
repertoire, but also music from the shows, films, pop classics,
contemporary pop, fun jazz items, and where appropriate, disney,
war time favourites etc.
On occasion, Stephanie has received requests to provide a combination
of harp and piano music, and this is usually possible to arrange.

A
Tapestry of Harp
By popular demand, Stephanie
released her CD “A Tapestry of Harp” which is a pedal harp CD of
approximately 70 minutes playing time. It aims to weave a tapestry
of different styles from the Celtic and folk tradition, to arrangements
of well known pieces from the classical world.
There is also lesser known classical music written specifically
for the harp, along with arrangements of music from the world of
jazz and musicals.
"A really lovely disc! So full of interest, so generous in length
- played with sincerity, musicianship, real flair, and an obvious
love for the harp which really comes across to your listeners, who
will love it too! My own personal favourites are nos. 21 (Today
I met my love), 24(Jakez's "Take Five"), 27 (Autumn Leaves),and
33 (Mnathan a Ghlinne Seo) but it's a collection with such a selection
that everyone will find his or her own particular treasure. Brilliant
!"
