If you're looking for the height of luxury, comfort and relaxation, you've found it here.
With heated swimming pool and sumptuous en-suite bedrooms, our cottage is the perfect retreat. Accessible but totally tranquil, you wake to views of 'blue remembered hills' from your bed. If you're looking for absolute luxury and total pampering, you'll find it here.
FROM OUR GUEST BOOK:
'Perfect!'
'The best B&B we have ever been to. The attention to detail is wonderful.'
'Wow what a wonderful place!'
'First class.'
'Really, really nice room'
'Inspirational. While staying here I felt like a glamorous actress!'
'A gorgeous home.'
Helen is the author of six best-selling novels and combines her career as an author with running the B&B.
Alastair Sawday's Special Places for Garden Lovers describes the B&B; "Helen is a writer and good fun; she will look after you with great care and attention. Bedrooms are filled with goodies like fresh flowers, beds are good and bathrooms are sparkling. It is no surpise that Helen adores and nurtures this particular spot - and sheer good luck that she enjoys sharing it with others." |

Facilities
Bed, breakfast, and so much more
Once the home of the estate managers of Stapleton Estate, we have completely refurbished the cottage to make it the perfect place to come home after a day in Shropshire.
Choose the victorian suite with oak beams and roll-top bath, or the regency suite with a pure white bathroom in a nautical style.
Breakfast are pure heaven - with fruit, conserves hand-made sausages, bacon, free-range eggs and home-baked bread.
Your exclusive, elegant sitting room has colour tv, video and an open coal fire. Enjoy tea in the garden with views over miles of countryside and the best sunsets in Shropshire.
The large heated swimming pool, (32 x 15 feet) is open from April to September and you swim to the sound of birdsong. Towels and robes are available for a small charge.
Ample car parking - Church Stretton 5 miles, Shrewsbury 4 miles
The gardens were once described as the prettiest gardens in Shropshire, and we are constantly rediscovering their beauty - our prairie borders are loveliest in late summer and colour themed perennial beds are attractive all year. |
