Images from two major events in the Ironbridge Gorge: Coalbrookdale 300 Launch, which celebrates Abraham Darby’s discovery of the smelting of iron with coke 300 years ago. The ceremony included the unveiling of a huge painting of the Gorge by local school children. This is the first phase of a massive £12 million development at the Victorian Museum in Ironbridge and includes an entire new Victorian street and artisans’ quarter.
