The River Seven regualrly breaks it banks and floods parts of Shropshire during Winter. This is a natural cycle that has been happening for centuries, so we are quite used to it!

Though there is some distruption in riverside areas for a few days, most of the county is unaffected, so please don't be afraid to visit during the floods!!

In recent years flood defences have been built in Shrewsbury & Ironbridge to protect some of the worst-affected areas, but in the rest of the county the floods still follow their natural course.#
