The play will be performed by the Oddsocks (www.oddsocks.co.uk) theatre company as part of their nationwide tour.
The talented thespians will transport the audience to Sicily in this classic romantic comedy, which features, love, intrigue, deception and misunderstandings.
The open-air performance begins at 7.30pm, but the gates will open at 7.00pm when visitors are invited to bring a picnic and rug, or low back chair, to sit on the grass and enjoy the strolling minstrels before the show begins, but no barbecues or gazebos please. Light refreshments will be available before the performance and during the interval.
Tickets, priced at £10 for adults, £8 for the over 60s and students, £6 for children under 12 and £28 for a family ticket (two adults and two children), can be purchased in advance from Blists Hill Victorian Town entrance or Ironbridge Tourist Information Centre; they will also be available on the gate at the event, subject to availability.
