Among the fun activities are the Enginuity Downhill Skittle Blasters where visitors can make a free-wheeling buggy and push it down a 4 metre slope to see how many skittles they can knock over. Design skills will also be brought to the fore at animal kite making workshops where youngsters can create their own flying pig, cow or other favourite creature and watch it fly through the air, or have a go at casting pewter key rings and badges.
Activities and workshops vary from day-to-day; some are free while others carry an extra charge in addition to the museum admission fee.
Other interactive exhibits at Enginuity such as the power valley, giant x-ray machine, robotic arm and crazy boiler all combine to make this a fun day out for the whole family.
