We are a friendly family run Holiday Home Park located in the beautiful and relaxed atmosphere of the Tanat Valley. The Park, which is open from Easter to the end of October caters for Holiday Home and Touring Caravans
Holiday Home Hire

Of the 65 holiday homes on the Park, 3 modern Holiday Home caravans and 1 Chalet, owned and maintained by us, are available for hire. The remaining holiday homes are privately owned and not for hire.

Holiday Home hire for the 2008 season starts from £160 up to £225 per week according to the time of the year and the Holiday Home you require.

Fully fitted kitchen with fridge, gas cooker and electric toaster, kettle microwave oven

Quilts and bed linen are provided for all beds

A 50p coin operated electricity meter

There is a NO SMOKING policy in all our hire units.

If you can not arrive before 6.00pm on day of arrival please telephone to make arrangements.

Pets are welcome provided they are not allowed on the furniture or beds and are kept under strict supervision, on a lead and exercised off the Park

A £30 non - returnable deposit is payable on booking, the balance to be paid upon arrival.

In order Caravans may be made ready, visitors are asked to arrive after 2.00 pm on day of arrival and to depart before 10.00 am on day of departure

Touring Area

Down by the River Tanat and independent of the holiday homes, we have spaces for 12 touring caravans or Motor homes, which all have electric hook-up.

Toilet facilities just before the start of the touring area, consists of ladies and gents toilets together with hot and cold water to showers and wash hand basins. A chemical disposal point is also located outside this building.

Fresh water may be obtained from 2 outlet points on the touring area.

General

Pets are welcome on the site, provided they are kept under strict supervision. Dogs must be on a lead at all times and exercised off the Park.

Laundry facilities are also available on the Park, please ask at our office.

A children's play area and equipment is on the opposite side of the river to the touring area.

General groceries, papers, milk, etc. may be purchased from our local village at the Post Office Store, Penybontfawr. Llanrhaeadr and Llanfyllin nearby have a butchers, bakery, chemist and small supermarkets, where most things can be found. There is a HSBC bank in Llanrhaeadr and Llanfyllin, which have cash point facilities.

Local Public Houses, Hotels and Restaurants in the area offer a wide variety of good food and welcome children into their establishments.

Out and About

There are many fine walks and cycle rides around Parc Farm for you to enjoy the peace and beauty of the Tanat Valley and surrounding countryside. Driving once again can become a pleasure when you explore seldom-used local lanes and encounter the wonderful views of the many valleys and hills. In the summer time our local villages and towns hold their local craft and produce shows and where sheep shearing and dog trials may also be seen. Or perhaps a ride on one of the narrow gauge railways or a canal trip may be what you are looking for. Whatever your interest we will be happy to advise you of where they are and how to get there.

Fly-fishing can be arranged locally, some of which lies within the Park.

Swimming, squash, tennis, indoor football, etc. may be undertaken at several excellent local centres and there are several golf courses in the area to choose from.

Water sports of most description which include White Water Rafting Sailing, Sailboarding and Canoeing.

Places of interest, whether they be Llanrhaeadr Waterfalls one of the seven wonders of Wales, Lake Vyrnwy or National Trust Properties such as Powis Castle at Welshpool, Chirk Castle or Erddig Hall, Wrexham are all just a short drive Even destinations further afield such as Snowdonia, Port Meirion, Bodnant Gardens and the coastal resorts of Aberystwyth, Aberdovey, Borth and Towyn provide a pleasant day out.

How To Find Us

The Park is just off the B4391 road from Llanfyllin to Bala, approximately 400 metres from the village of Penybontfawr.
