Gabrielle Drake

Enjoy a memorable evening of poetry and the spoken word with a trio of distinguished performers.

Our theme for this eagerly anticipated event at the Edge Arts Centre will be horticultural – gardening and gardens through the ages.

We are delighted to be able to welcome Sir Roy Strong, the famous art historian, director of the Victoria and Albert Museum, broadcaster and landscape gardener.

He will be accompanied by the wine producer Alex James and by the actress Gabrielle Drake, who is well-known to Festival audiences for her work in television and on the stage.

Gabrielle of course lives in Much Wenlock and has secretly admitted to being something of a “disaster” when it comes to gardening...

A very special evening awaits.
