Mill
Stream Cottage is
hidden away in a secluded valley close to the banks of
the River Unk. Surrounded by a patchwork of fields and
rolling hills in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty,
where the only sounds you can hear are those of the river
and birdsong.
Dating
back to the 17th Century Mill Stream Cottage
was a working corn-mill and has now been tastefully converted
into a cosy romantic retreat for two retaining the original
stonework, beams and mill ironwork.
The
unspoilt countryside is a haven for wildlife
and there are good walks including Offas' Dyke from the
cottage door. The impressive scenery of The Long Mynd
and Stiperstones and Georgian Ludlow with two Michelin
star restaurants and 500 listed buildings are all just
a short drive away.
