Inside
the cottage
there is a wealth of stone and honey coloured beams. The
sitting room is fully carpeted and has two comfy sofas
to curl up on in front of the inglenook fireplace with
a woodburner which makes the cottage warm and cosy.
The
dining area has pine table and chairs and the well equipped
open plan kitchen has rustic wooden units. A shower room
and W.C. are at the foot of steep stairs.
Upstairs
there are two bedrooms - one double and one twin. Both
have beamed, sloping ceilings with velux windows and views
across open countryside, stripped pine furniture and original
Victorian cast-iron beds. |

Outside, the cottage is reached through a
large private wild flower garden with table and seats.
It is a peaceful sunny place to sit and relax with
afternoon tea and a good book on summer days. |
