Shropshire is located in central England midway between the city of Birmingham and the Welsh Border.

By Air

Birmingham & Manchester airports are the nearest international airports (approx 1 hour drive), though Shropshire is within easy reach of the main London Airports. North Shropshire is convenient for Liverpool (John Lennon) Airport.

By Rail

The following towns in Shropshire and the borders have railway station: Shrewsbury, Telford, Wellington, Albrighton, Cosford, Shifnal, Wem, Whitchurch, Oswestry (Gobowen), Welshpool, Ludlow, Church Stretton and Craven Arms.
