Picklescott is on the Long Mynd, an area of outstanding natural beauty and National Trust land rising to 1700 ft. The rural hill country is some of the most spectacular in England and is wonderful for walking, cycling and horse riding.
There are shuttle bus services around The Long Mynd and to neighbouring countryside.
The cottage offers off-road parking and secure storage for cycles.
Walkers and cyclists are welcome. |

 Facilities
Guest accommodation at Jordan Cottage is in a part of the house with its own entrance. We take just one or two guests or a family of four.
There is a private sitting room for guests with TV and DVD, and a bedroom above with a double or two single beds, a shower room and WC. There is a double sofa bed in the guests' sitting room which can be used by family or friends.
Guests can come and go as they please and use the accommodation at all times. This makes Jordan Cottage ideal for a longer stay but overnighters are equally welcome.
An excellent breakfast is served with a choice of traditional and less common dishes. Evening meals are usually available and packed lunches can be ordered. Alternatively there is a pub in the village serving meals.
