While we do our best to ensure we include as many events as possible, it is inevitable we miss some. We recommend you check our listings regularly to see if all your events are listed and most importantly that the information is correct.

Submit a Press Release to Tourism News

This is one of most visited sections and is updated several times a week. Many Shropshire Attractions & Event organisers send regular articles to us. So if you have a story that might be of interest to our visitors, make sure you send it to us by following the instructions below.
How to Submit your Press releases
For the best chance of publication, your submissions should be send by email to info@virtual-shropshire.co.uk in either plain text or as a MS word attachment and should be copy-ready - as we have very little time to edit! For guidance take a look at the existing articles in our news section.
Please do not send releases in PDF or graphic format as it can be difficult to extract the text. We cannot use posters or leaflets, but are happy to publish a photograph. Please supply photos in landscape format and high resolution (we will resize for web display).
If the release concerns a future event please ensure you send at least two weeks before, otherwise we may not be able to publish in time.
Ensure the following is included in the release:
- Date, times and prices for events
- Venue and full postal address
- Web address and contact information for further information
- Photo if available
News submissions will only be included if they are likely to be of interest to tourism / leisure visitors.

All Shropshire Visitor Attractions are entitled to a free basic listing in this section. Check that your entry is listed in the correct area – and let us know if you are missing find any mistakes!
