Ironbridge Lodge is a ground floor barn conversion superbly situated in a quiet area of the beautiful town of Ironbridge, a World Heritage Site.

The town provides a wonderful range of museums, quality restaurants, shopping, antiques, gifts etc., are within easy reach.

Ironbridge is a wonderful destination also offering easy access to many more of Shropshire’s beautiful attractions.

Location

For food lovers Ironbridge offers a variety of pubs and restaurants including the Malthouse on the Wharfage which hosts a weekly jazz club and DaVinci’s, a fine Italian restaurant. The Tea Emporium in the square offers the best coffee and tea selection in the county and a very good range of light lunches and offers a wonderful view of The Ironbridge.

Within a short distance of Ironbridge Lodge are three major walking routes; Ironbridge Way (10 miles) Silkin Way (4 miles) and The Hutchison Way,

The World Heritage Site of The Ironbridge is less than a five minute walk from the lodge.

For those of you who enthusiastically hit a little white ball around a course, there are several good, well established Golf Clubs; Great Hay, Horsehay and The Wrekin (which is not for the faint hearted).

If relaxing is more your style there are several health spas nearby and again we can provide details of these.

Ironbridge is within easy reach of many beautiful Shropshire locations. Shrewsbury (15 Miles), Ludlow (28 Miles) Bridgnorth (12 miles)

For those who wish to plan their stay to coincide with one of many local annual events there is the Ludlow Festival in June - July, the West Midlands Show in Shrewsbury in June, the Shrewsbury Flower Show in July, the Church Stretton Food and Arts Festival July-August, Burwarton Agricultural Show in August, the Music Festival at Attingham Park in August. We will be happy to provide more information on these and also on programmes at The Place Theatre and Shrewsbury Music Hall.

We can arrange shopping to be delivered to the lodge either from supermarkets or local suppliers.
