 A Charming and spacious Country Cottage
Garden Cottage is a spacious and charming Grade II listed Country House of immense character. Quietely situated in the small village of Withington amidst lovely open countryside yet only 10/15 minutes drive from Shrewsbury. We are also centrally located to explore all areas of beautiful Shropshire. Superb accommodation, generous English breakfasts, and a high standard of personal,friendly service. There is ample private and secure enclosed parking within the house grounds.
The village pub is just around the corner. serving good food at weekends, with further pub/Restaurants being within 1-2 miles.
Packed lunches can be arranged in advance, if required.

 Facilities
The Breakfast room/Sitting room is suitable for guests in the evening, with the use of a T.V./Video recorder and reading material. Complimentary coffee/tea can be served, if required.
Impressive and spacious Double Room with extremely comfortable bed. Tea/coffee tray to include herbal teas and mineral water. Ensuite shower room, bathrobes, quality towels and toiletries.
Twin room with bathrobes provided. Spacious main bathroom next to it, with double size shower cubicle.
Comfortable and cosy Single room. Bathrobe provided. Use of bathroom shared with Twin room guests.
All rooms have colour t.v., radio and hairdryer,plus reading material .
Good food and warm hospitality assured. Brochure sent on request.
KINDLY NOTE: No smoking in all areas of the house please.
Open all year with the exception of Christmas week and New Year's Eve/Day.
Guests are requested not to book in prior to 4.00 p.m. on the day of arrival please to allow their accommodation to be fully prepared, and we ask, please, that you kindly vacate your room by 10.30 a.m. on the day of departure. |

Approaching Shrewsbury: From the A49/A53/M54/A5, travel along the A5 and leave at the junction with the B4380 Ironbridge/Atcham/Walcot.
Continue to Atcham Bridge turning immediately left over bridge. Next right (Upton Magna/Withington),following lane to Withington. Turn left after Hare & Hounds public house in Withington. Garden Cottage will be found third property on left.
From Shrewsbury Town Centre: Leave Shrewsbury via English Bridge, continuing straight ahead, with the Abbey Church on your left. Continue over the next set of traffic lights until the roundabout near the Lord Hill monument. Take second exit (London Road) signposted Telford (A5). Follow through to next roundabout and take the second exit (B4380 Ironbridge/Atcham/Walcot). Turn left immediately over Atcham Bridge and take next right to Upton Magna/Withington.
Follow directions to Withington, the Hare & Hounds P.H. being on the right in Withington. Turn next left and Garden Cottage is third on the left-hand side. |
