3th October 2009, Lion Hotel Ballroom, Shrewsbury. Organised by Shrewsbury Heritage Celebrations as part of the Darwin Bicentenary celebrations. It was the Lion Hotel, to which Charles returned on the night of the 4th October 1836, after nearly five years on the Voyage of the Beagle.
