A beautiful Victorian house, home to Sarah & Stuart and their young family, now in their 2nd year of offering B&B.

A five minute walk into the medieval town of Shrewsbury where you can admire the breath taking architecture of the Castle, Library and Abbey.

Enjoy a trip on the river Severn onboard the new Sabrina boat, or just stroll through the cobbled streets and pop back for complimentary tea and Sarah’s homemade chocolate cake.

From October 2008 we have local artists work on display for you to purchase or just simply admire.(please note we do not take a commission).

Facilities

Ferndell has 2 luxurious spacious rooms, a twin with feature fireplace, stained glass windows and view of the Castle. Larger than average private bathroom with bath and separate shower. The double is just beautiful, with large sofa, stained glass picture window and modern shower room.

Tea & Coffee, TV, iron, hairdryer and even stamped postcards to send to your friends along with sample menus from some of Shrewsbury's finest restaurants/bistros.

Our hearty aga cooked breakfast with bacon and sausage from the local butcher will set you up for the day, especially if your here to shop!! Shrewsbury is blessed with many individual shops, some just waiting to be found hidden away in the famous "shuts" of the town.
