SUSTAINABLE TOURISM. Brilliant News!!! We've just been given a lovely award by the Shropshire Hills Sustainable Business Scheme. We were the 'Stay Local' winner of the Achiever Award 2011. To add to our delight, the prize was a hamper full of delicious local goodies, all of it produced within a few miles of Mocktree Barns. We are pleased to be part of the innovative Shropshire Hills 'Buy Local, Be Sustainable' initiative. We can arrange for a box of organic fruit and vegetables as well as other delicious organic and fairtrade provisions to be waiting for you in your cottage. We can also provide details of a good value 'breakfast basket' which will give you all you need for a short break. Ask us for details of these two when booking. We've also been awarded GOLD by the Green Tourism Business Scheme. We have been part of this scheme for the last three years and are delighted that our hard work has been rewarded with this prestigious award. QUALITY ASSURANCE We have had our annual inspection from Visit Britain and are very pleased that we continue to be officially Family and Pet Friendly. We have held both "Walkers and Cyclists Welcome" accreditations for some time. Recent comments in our Visitors' Book suggest that we are still offering the good value for money which won us the Gold Award. Perhaps that's why so many of our visitors keep coming back!
