The New Year already! But where is the Winter? Perhaps should'nt speak too soon as it is starting to get colder! Mind you it is nice and cosy in the cottage and over in the Coach House too! There has been a lot of comment recently about the unfairness of Trip Advisor, but our Trip Advisor reviews could not be much better. We continue to be No.1 in Much Wenlock. However one of our more recent reviews did contain some criticisms - small shower room (can't understand that but how big is small?), and very hot water (can't understand that either as showers have thermostatic valves?). All of which goes to show that we haven't written them ourselves! But we do have some very nice guests and they invariably remark they are surprised how much there is to see and do here in Shropshire, even at this time of year. We have now installed wi-fi internet connection for the benefit of our guests, and it is available in each of our three rooms. We have been intending to offer this for some time, but we are pleasantly surprised how often it is used. However, we did use a similar facility ourselves to answer e-mails when we were away in Austria last September! The Feathers Inn at the bottom of the road in Brockton continues to be very good, and a number of our recent visitors have said what an excellent and enjoyable meal they had there. In a rural area we are fortunate in having such a good place to eat right on our doorstep. But why not come and see for yourselves. Simply give us a ring. We would love to hear from you.
