A very happy New Year to you all, and especially to those of you who have stayed with us in the past year. We have enjoyed having some lovely people to stay and have had some wonderful comments. The Inspector from Quality Assurance arrived a couple of weeks ago,and we once again surpassed the Four Star standard and were given the accolade of a Silver Award. A few comments from the official report: "Made to feel very welcome and hosts very helpful" - "Very high standards of cleanliness maintained, bathrooms in pristine condition" - "Exceptionally comfortable beds" -"Use of local and own produce at breakfast ensures complete freshness and excellent flavour". The Feathers Inn at the bottom of the road continues in its popularity. We are fortunate in having such a good place to eat almost on the doorstep Why not come and try it all for yourselves?
