The middle of June and the weather is absolutely fantastic! Hope we don't speak too soon! We are really pleased with ourselves at the moment. Enjoy England in conjunction with a Penguin Books promotion for a new set of books entitled "English Journeys", have picked us as the number one prize of a two night stay in an award winning B&B. One of the books is a "Shropshire Lad" by AE Housman which is set all around us here. Enter via the Penguin book website and you could be coming to stay for free! Our own website has recently been updated by Paul at Virtual Shropshire who always makes things so easy for us. He has endless patience including the consummate detail which we think is so important to anyone considering staying with us. You will see we now feature more of what we can offer the walkers amongst you. Sometimes living on the doorstep with wonderful walking all around, we sometimes can easily overlook what is so obvious when actually living here. The Feathers Inn at the bottom of the road continues in its popularity, and is presently offering some excellent deals. We are fortunate in having such a good place to eat almost on the doorstep, and the quality is always to be relied on. We ourselves went with some friends from nearby only the other night and we had a lovely evening. But why not come and try it all for yourselves? Simply give us a ring. We would love to hear from you.
