SENIOR
VET
Sarah Probert BVSc MRCVS
Sarah
qualified from Bristol University in 2000 and has lived in
Shropshire ever since. In December 2003 she set up on her
own, starting Bridgnorth Veterinary Centre. Since opening
the practice Sarah has had 2 children Joseph and Concetta
who you may see running around the practice!! She takes great
interest in preventative care to ensure the well being of
your pets and also a particular interest in anaesthesia and
pain management. Sarah is a local girl returning to her home
patch. She has 2 border collies herself, Moss & Lad, who
often pop up to say hello at reception. Consequently she has
a keen interest in canine behaviour!! When not at the practice
she can often be seen out on her horse Harvey - but blink
and you miss them! |
Alexa
Savage BSc BVSc MRCVS
Alexa
graduated with distinction from Bristol vet school in July
2010. She enjoyed her work experience with us so much she
now works full time alongside Sarah. Alexa holds a degree
in animal behaviour and has even
clicker trained camels!!. Outside work she enjoys running
and chillaxing with friends and music (especially when she
is the DJ). |
HEAD
NURSE
Lynne Jones RVN
Lynne
qualified in 1999 from Rodbaston College. As head nurse Lynne
keeps our nursing staff in order(!) and gives advice and help
on all the clinics the nurses offer. Lynne is the senior member
of staff involved in hydrotherapy working with Sarah.She is
a local girl and when not at Quatt Cricket Club or the practice,
enjoys walking with her dogs and life in Bridgnorth. Lynne
had baby May in September 2009 who keeps Lynne on her toes!

NURSE
Jodie Baynam RVN
Jodie
qualified in 2004 and joined the practice in July 2005. As
well as running nurse clinics Jodie also produces the monthly
newsletter, organises the practice monthly offers and displays.
She also works alongside Claire dealing with the mountains
of insurance claims! When not working enjoys spending money,
holidays and going to the gym!!! |
NURSE
Vicki Bell RVN
Vicki
qualified in 2008 from Rodbaston college. She takes a keen
interest in emergency nursing and is currently working towards
her certificate in emergency and critical care nursing. She
enjoys eating out and travelling. Vicki has a cat but can
always be guaranteed to have someone else she is
fostering!! |
STUDENT
NURSE
Laura Tomlinson
Laura
started working with us in August 2010 and is studying at
South Staffordshire College doing her Veterinary nursing diploma.
She enjoys spending time with her horses and competing at
local shows. Laura is looking to go on and complete her equine
veterinary nursing qualification in later life.

SENIOR
RECEPTIONIST
Kim Hodgson
Kim has
lived in Bridgnorth all her life and is the first welcome
you will get at BVC. She has worked in practice for many years
and is there to deal with clients requests and queries, as
well as providing help and advice. Kim has 2 cats. |
RECEPTIONIST
Claire Upton
Claire
previously worked with children but has now turned her interests
to animals. She is our point of contact for insurance matters.
Claire is our afternoon receptionist since having her first
baby, Jessie in July 2009! |
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Di Stevens MCSP SRP
Di is
the daughter of a vet, and sensibly went into physio instead!!
Di is here once a month at the moment, as she also sees private
clients – including horses and of course people. Di
qualified in 1988 and performs massage, trigger release, energetics,
ultrasound and gives specific home exercises. |
