Shropshire is in for a musical treat with the fantastic West Milford Highlander Band flying in from New Jersey, U.S.A to perform in a concert at the fantastic venue of St Mary’s Church, Shrewsbury on Thursday 24th April at 7.30pm in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Sara Thomas, Shropshire Fundraising Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support said, “We are delighted that the West Milford Highlander Band will be performing at St Mary’s Church, Shrewsbury. We are in for a great night of entertainment listening to some of the finest young musicians out of New Jersey”.
The talented musicians also play the great highland pipes, which adds a unique flair to the performance. The band participate in approximately 40 performances a year, having performed in Canada, Florida and now the UK.
Directed by the very talented Dr Brian McLaughlin who has performed on Broadway in Miss Saigon and Beauty and the Beast, and on the national tour of The Secret Garden.
