St Mary's Church, Shrewsbury

Sara Thomas, Shropshire Fundraising Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support  said, “We are delighted that the West Milford Highlander Band will be performing at St Mary’s Church, Shrewsbury. We are in for a great night of entertainment listening to some of the finest young musicians out of New Jersey”.

The talented musicians also play the great highland pipes, which adds a unique flair to the performance.  The band participate in approximately 40 performances a year, having performed in Canada, Florida and now the UK.
Directed by the very talented Dr Brian McLaughlin who has performed on Broadway in Miss Saigon and Beauty and the Beast, and on the national tour of The Secret Garden. 

This concert is free of charge, with a retiring collection at the end of the evening, if you would like any further information please the Shropshire Fundraising Office on 01743 452080. The concert commences at 7.30pm and we envisage that it will be finished by around 9.00pm. 

Sara concluded, “We are really pleased and very privileged to be hosting this concert in Shrewsbury and hope that lots of people will support us to see this first class band”.
