You will know that Joanne Harris has written many books including "Chocolat" which was filmed starring Judi Dench and Johnny Depp. You will probably know of her other books, "Blackberry Wine", "Five Quarters of the Orange", "Lollipop Shoes", Runemarks" and "Blueeyedboy" to name just some.
"Runemarks" was a diversion from her regular stories, a trip into the world of fantasy, and now she has written its sequel, "Runelight".
Joanne will be coming to Bridgnorth on Tuesday, 15th November to promote her new book. She will talk about "Runelight" and her writing in general and there will be an opportunity to ask her questions.
This author event will take place in the large sports hall of Bridgnorth Leisure Centre and will start at 7.30pm.
Tickets for the event are £2.50 each and must be pre-purchased. Please call in to Bridgnorth Library to pay for and collect your tickets or send a stamped addressed envelope with a cheque to Bridgnorth library, Listley Street, Bridgnorth, WV16 4AW. Please make cheques payable to Shropshire Council.
