Cinderella at Whitchurch

The Whitchurch Civic Centre will be playing host to the production between the 6th and 10th of January 2010 and everyone is getting very excited. "We have produced panto for a number of years now in Cleethorpes and the show has been a great success every year" said Company Director (and this years Prince Charming) Nic Breeze. "But being a Shropshire Lad by birth and upbringing, when this opportunity presented itself, we grabbed it with both hands. Shropshire, and Whitchurch itself is such a beautiful part of the country, it is going to be a great privilege to stage Cinderella here".

Cinderella is the story of a young girl bullied and put upon by her evil Ugly stepsisters, until one day she finally meets her Prince and all her dreams come true. Nicola Foxfield who plays our heroine says: "She might be bullied to start with, but this Cinders has got some fight left in her yet! And with friends like Buttons (played by Tom Scott) and the Fairy Godmother (Played by Tessa Hatts from CITV’s Wizadora) helping out, all comes right in the end." Yellow Brick Road’s production is a traditional Pantomime in all the right ways, with a laugh a minute story line, romance, slapstick two VERY ugly sisters, and bags and bags of fun.

Cinderella will be at the Whitchurch Civic Centre from the 6th to the 10th of January 2010 with matinee and evening performances at 1.30pm and 7.30pm every day.

Tickets are available online at www.cinderella.shropshirelive.com, by popping in to the Heritage Centre in Whitchurch or by calling the box office on 01948 665 432.
