This Saturday 24 July 2010, Bishop's Castle plays host to a live one day outdoor music event featuring local up & coming bands plus a few established names.
The event is being organised by AMP which is a youth led music project aiming to give young musicians in the Bishops Castle area a helping hand in getting themselves established on the live music scene plus raising funds to help them with workshops & equipment.
The event is a family friendly day with accompanied under 12' s admitted free of charge otherwise its just £5 per person admission. There will be approximately 10 bands on stage from 2pm til 10pm.
Refreshments are available including a real ale beer tent, barbecue with veggie option, tea / coffee / cake stall, bouncy castle plus a grand raffle with prizes donated by local businesses.
Some of the bands performing are 'The Nuclear Weasels, Fight the Bear, The BC All Skas & Thin Vision'. - indie, rock, pop, ska.
All profit on the day goes towards AMP.
Please get there early on the day as tickets are only available on the gate & numbers are limited.
The event takes place on Bishops Castle Playing Fields and will be well signposted from around the town.
