Young visitors to Attingham Park during July and August can follow the popular letterbox trail to win a prize.
The Letterbox Trail runs every day during the school holidays, starting from Saturday 19 July.
The trail follows paths around the property, leading young visitors through the Deer Park and along the Mile Walk to discover the letterboxes and collect the special stamps to receive their prize.
Children and their families can buy a trail booklet from visitor reception which contains clues to find the eight letterboxes.
Kellie Scott, Acting Learning Officer at the property says: “The letterboxes are in different locations from last year so visitors who have followed the trail before can return for a different challenge this summer.”
“Following the trail is an ideal way for families to explore the grounds during the holidays.”
The booklet costs £2 and can be purchased from visitor reception. The trail runs from 19 July until 1 September and is available from 9am until 5pm.
The grounds, visitor reception and shop at Attingham Park are open daily from 9am while the Regency mansion is open from 1pm Thursdays to Tuesdays. The tea-room opens from 10.30am to 5pm Thursdays to Tuesdays. The Carriage House kiosk serving drinks and snacks is open on Wednesdays and at weekends.
