The mansion will open early to visitors each day at 11am on Saturday 27, Sunday 28 and Monday 29 August.
In the mansion visitors will be able to see the House of Beasts contemporary art exhibition that is currently on display and families can enjoy the House Mouse and Servants trail (no extra charges).
Around the grounds families can choose from three holiday trails to follow, hunting for clues on the Beano Trail, spotting robins on the Secret Garden Trail and ticking off wildlife on the I Spy trail. Beano and Secret Garden Trails are £2.50 (includes a small prize), the I Spy Trail is 50p (prize not included) and run until 4 September.
And for visitors wanting to venture off the beaten track and learn a more about the landscape, trees and wildlife at Attingham, there are warden led guided walks on Saturday and Sunday.
Events and Marketing Officer Flora Hutchison said: “With a variety of things to see and do this summer in the mansion and grounds, visitors are spoilt for choice. The park is open every day during the summer break, so whether you want to have a run around in the fresh air, go exploring with our family trail, discover the stories in the house or just chill out with a picnic, Attingham Park is the perfect venue.”
Standard house and grounds admission charges apply, National Trust members and under 5s free.
Visitor Reception, the parkland and shop are open from 9am-6pm every day.
Normal mansion opening hours are 1pm -5.30pm (last admission 4.30pm), with guided tours of the mansion available from 11am each day.
